The ALOA Count® method (EN ISO 16140 validated- n° AES10/05-09/06) is a sensitive and inexpensive solution to enumerate L. monocytogenes in food products.
In compliance with CE2072/2005- CE1441/2007
ALOA® is a chromogenic medium for the screening of Listeria monocytogenes in foodstuffs and environmental samples.
ALOA® One Day method allows detection of L. monocytogenes within
24 hours on ALOA ®(AFNOR validation N° AES10/03-09/00)

AES CHEMUNEX extends the ALOA® concept to the confirmation of the results, by proposing the use of ALOA Confirmation® plate .
This new chromogenic agar validated within the framework of AFNOR VALIDATION certification of ALOA One Day and ALOA Count allows to confirm easily the presence of Listeria monocytogenes after plate count with ALOA Count® method and detection with ALOA One Day® method
A single streak is made on the ALOA Confirmation® agar from one typical colony.
6 typical colonies can be confirmed on the same ALOA Confirmation® plate for a result within 24 hours.
